The free hugs posts will have to wait another week. Life has gotten in the way and inspired this weeks short blog. Recently A co-worker died and he was only 35. I don’t know if he ever realized how many lives his life impacted. Do any of us ever think about how our lives impact other people’s lives? I think that if we did maybe our self-worth would be greater then it is. You never think about how much your life affects other people.
Day to day we go through I was thinking about am I good enough am I strong enough. But we were doing really think about is how I made a difference today the lives of others. Too many people die not knowing what they’ve done for other people. They don’t realize that to the people that remain a lives meant something.
Your life matters to people whether you realize it or not. And you can make it matter to more people by being a better person to people. In all of interactions my co-worker and I had great conversations about some things that people might consider meaningless. But to me they meant a lot. So look at your own life and see where are you having meaningless conversations that are really meaningful to others.
You never really know and often others don’t think about it until you are gone. So in my personal life I have added coworkers to my Facebook because I should have friends who also know me outside of work.
