One being affects another and another and so on; in other words your actions may affect people that you will never meet. By living with compassion you can affect the lives of those around you as well as your own. It’s simple really all you have to do is to be kind daily, to yourself and to others. When you make a mistake it’s best not to be mean to yourself, remember you are human and it is okay to make mistakes. Being kind to yourself may be the hardest thing to do. More often than not we are our own worst critics. But, have faith in yourself and be kind to yourself.
Give freely; that is simple isn’t it? Someone once wrote that it doesn’t make you poor to give something. Give time, money, expertise, help, and advice if it is asked for but, don’t be angry if you advice is not taken. The important thing is to give in a way that makes a positive difference. Positive giving is a big part of living with compassion.
